Speaking to itVARnews, Rajeev Khanna, President, JCDA said, "This is going to be a first IT expo in the area and we have started getting very good response from the big IT vendors i.e. various big brands like HP, Epson, Techcom, Orchid, Microtek, iBall has already confirmed their participation in the expo and talks for the same with other brands are in pipeline."
The event is one of its type being organized first time in the region and will provide a rare opportunity for vendors to showcase their products and peripherals under one roof. A large footfall is expected from a diversified list of target segment ranging from sophisticated end users, industrial and institutional buyers, IT and EDP managers from leading industries, web masters and developers etc.
When asked about the advertising strategy for the event he answered, "In order to make the event a success we are advertising the same through various means including pamphlets, hoardings, local cable channels, advertisements in radio and local newspapers."
This IT expo will focus on the latest technology and products showcasing computers, components and office automation category. The event will also include various other attractions like daily 3 to 4 VIPs and corporates guests etc.
Explaining the objectives of organizing such an event in the area Khanna said, the main aim of the expo is to enlighten the users and bringing more and more new technologies and brands in area. This expo is expected to bring more business in the area as well."
He summed up the conversation saying, "JCDA is aiming to make the expo a national level event gathering huge success."
